This allows the user to employ source profiles, simulation profiles, output color profiles, and rendering styles, as well as spot color matching capabilities. With the ability to load an offset press profile into the controller, it’s
possible to produce a proof that will closely match the final output. In addition, there are advanced color matching options such as Spot-On® with Substitute Colors. With this standard feature, you’ll have even more control over producing spot colors and logo colors accurately. If a spot or logo color is not to your liking, Spot-On with Substitute Color allows a color to be modified on the controller to produce a more accurate match. With the Graphic Arts Package, Premium Edition, features such as the ImageViewer allow for late-stage color editing for those last-minute customer changes. Not to mention, there’s the Paper Simulation Editing tool that allows the user to adjust the monitor white point to accurately match the paper white of the printed piece.

With the addition of the optional Compose feature, you can create complex jobs that include tabs, inserts, and paper substitutions. Compose utilizes a graphical user interface ® that allows the users to see each page in the document for fast job assembly. Standard features such as Advanced Job Re-Order will allow effortless and seamless print production. With this feature, you can control the processing and printing by reordering the job queue, which is beneficial if you need to move a job up the queue for a rush deadline. The Paper Catalogue, also standard, offers benefits such as simplified paper selection and the ability to apply a custom color profile to each paper. Because this feature is so easy to use, you can create a customized Paper Catalogue. In addition to having color management and production level tools at your disposal, the imagePRESS Server Q2 helps produce professional-looking booklets with ease. An intuitive wizard guides the user through the booklet-making process for the production of booklets in letter, legal, and tabloid sizes. Even if a job begins as hard copy, the Fiery Remote Scan will convert originals to high-quality images and text that may be printed and stored for repurposing. You can even launch Remote Scan as a stand-alone application right from your desktop. In addition, use it to scan hard copy as well as scan and send to e-mail.
