Designed to give the finest results for Fine Art and Photography applications, Canon’s iPF8100 uses a 12 colour LUCIA pigment ink system which produces exceptionally accurate colours, expressive black and whites. It's incredibly cost effective too.
Exceptional colours and brilliant black and white
Canon’s incredible 12 colour LUCIA pigment ink system produces the full spectrum of colours with great accuracy and perfect balance due to the inclusion of both RGB and CMY inks. The dual print head that features 30,720 nozzles produces super fine, evenly distributed 4 picolitre ink droplets.
The combination of black, matt black, grey and photo grey inks produces smooth graduation without graininess for incredibly lifelike photography. This printer has many applications including wedding photography, christenings and the rapidly growing lifestyle portrait work. The iPF8100 produces work that’s here to stay. The prints are guaranteed to be unaffected by light (Lightfastness) for 100 years and with borderless printing up to 42” your prints will have maximum impact.
Your prints will be consistent from print to print with the on-board colour calibration tool, and there is no need for external devices because once the printer is calibrated it is setup.
Cost effective and highly productive printing
The variety of inks available including two separate grey inks means that unlike conventional systems, there is much less need to blend colours therefore less ink is required. Brilliant, but cost effective results are achieved. This innovative system doesn’t mean you compromise your deadlines either. The iPF8100 can print A1 draft prints in just over 2 minutes. High capacity ink tanks (700ml) can also be replaced during printing, for consistent, deadline beating performance.
Easy to live and grow with
The large LCD display makes operating the iPF8100 incredibly simple, allowing you to focus on creating your masterpieces. Canon’s specialist printer driver gives access to a wealth of advanced capabilities such as KYANOS, Canon’s next generation colour management. For simplicity, you can operate the printer in “easy mode” using pre-configured settings.
Additional software is included, enhancing the connectivity and capability of your large format print environment including Digital Photo Front Access, a Plug-In for Photoshop. Canon’s incredible poster creation software PosterArtist 2007 is optional.
