Designed specifically to give the finest results for Fine Art and Photography applications, Canon’s iPF9100 uses a 12-colour LUCIA pigment ink system which produces exceptionally accurate colours, expressive black and whites. It's incredibly cost effective too.
Exceptional colours and brilliant black and white
Canon’s incredible 12-colour LUCIA pigment ink system produces the full spectrum of colours with great accuracy and perfect balance due to the inclusion of RGB and CMY inks. The dual print head featuring 30,720 nozzles produces super-fine, evenly distributed 4 picolitre ink droplets.
The combination of black, matt black, grey and photo grey inks allow for incredibly smooth graduation without graininess for incredibly lifelike photography. This printer has many applications including wedding photography, christenings, and the rapidly growing lifestyle portrait work. With borderless printing up to 42” your prints will have the maximum impact. Importantly, the iPF9100 lets you produce work that’s here to stay. Prints are guaranteed to be unaffected by light (Lightfastness) for 100 years.
Your prints will be consistent from print to print with the on board colour calibration tool. There is no need for external devices - once calibrated, the printer is setup.
Cost effective and highly productive printing
The variety of inks available including two separate grey inks mean that, unlike conventional systems, there is much less need to blend colours and therefore less ink is required. Brilliant, but highly cost effective results are achieved.
This innovative system doesn’t mean compromising your deadlines either. The iPF9100 can print A0 draft prints in just over 2 minutes. High capacity ink tanks (700ml) can also be replaced during printing for consistent, deadline beating performance.
Easy to live and grow with
A large LCD display makes the iPF9100 incredibly simple to operate so you can focus on creating your masterpieces. Canon’s specialist printer driver gives access to a wealth of advanced capabilities such as KYANOS, Canon’s next generation colour management. For simplicity, you can choose to operate the printer in “easy mode” and use the various pre-configured settings.
Additional software is included that enhances the connectivity and capability of your large format print environment including Digital Photo Front Access, a Plug-In for Photoshop. Canon’s incredible poster creation software PosterArtist 2007 is optional.
