Clarks is a British-owned international shoe manufacturer, with global product sales. For the year ending January 2010, the company made a profit of £125m on sales of £1,174m making it the 33rd largest privately owned company in the UK.
In 1980, the company acquired the Bostonian Shoe Company – a brand recognized as America’s classic shoemaker for over 100 years. In 1995, under the name The Clarks Companies, North America, Bostonian, Clarks and the Retail Division came together as a single organization, offering a huge product range to their consumers.
The Clarks Companies, North America owns and operates 250+ retail stores in the United States and Puerto Rico. They retail though an extensive network, including independent shoe retailers, online, catalogs and QVC.
With so many distribution channels, there is a great demand for marketing collateral and product photography.
